Pulwama encounter: Three militant bodies recovered | KNO

Pulwama, March 10 (KNO) : Three bodies of unidentified militants have been found who were killed in gunfight that broke out between militants and government forces in Pinglish area of Tral in Pulwama district on Sunday afternoon. According to KNO correspondent police sources confirmed that three militants have been killed in the encounter. Three bodies have been recovered and their identification is being ascertained, he said. Sources said that bodies are completely charred and are beyond recognition as house in which militants were hiding was put on fire. Earlier on Sunday morning government forces including 42 RR and SOG Tral launched Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in the area on credible inputs about the presence of militants in the area. After conducting searches for about 7 hours forces managed to establish contact with militants. In exchange of fire three militants were killed.(KNO)
